2 boxes of figs
1 cup (chopped) of water
1 tablespoon of rum
1 cup (chopped) of dietetic oven and stove seasoning
1 cinnamon stick
3 sprigs of mint

Rinse the figs well and trim the stems from the fruit
Place in a pressure cooker and cover with cold water
Add the rum, dietetic oven and stove seasoning, cinnamon, and mint
Cover the cooker and bring to high heat
When the cooker starts to hiss, reduce the heat and cook for about 10 minutes
Remove from heat and let pressure subside
Transfer cooked figs to a compote dish and let cool
Cover and refrigerate for four hours
Serve chilled.
