Dough
1 tablet of active dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup whole milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Salt to taste
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Filling
250g Mortadela
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Paprika and oregano to taste
1 beaten egg for brushing
Dough

Dough
In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water
Mix together milk, egg, melted butter, salt, and flour until smooth
Knead the dough until it becomes soft and pliable
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise to double its size
Knead the dough again, roll out to 1/4 inch thickness, and cut into three disks of 9 inches in diameter
In a 9-inch round cake pan, place one disk of dough, spread with Mortadela, cover with shredded mozzarella cheese, and season with paprika and oregano
Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a layer of dough
Brush the top with beaten egg and cover with plastic wrap
Let rise for 25 minutes
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown
Serve warm or cold.
