Cut the chicken into pieces and place them in a pot with aromatics, season with salt to taste, add pepper, cinnamon sticks, chopped onions, and butter or margarine
Add two large cups of water
Cover the pot and bring it to a boil
Turn the chicken pieces occasionally
Add more water if necessary
When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pot and reserve
Wash the black plums and cook them in the same pot where you cooked the chicken
After 15 minutes, add cinnamon and honey
Let it cook a bit longer
Check the seasoning and return the chicken pieces to the pot
Remove from heat
Separately, peel the almonds and fry them in boiling oil for a few minutes before serving
Place the chicken pieces on a platter, cover with black plums and sauce, and finally sprinkle with almonds
Serve immediately.
