1 medium chicken cut into pieces
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 cup pitted green olives, sliced
2 tablespoons capers
1 tablespoon caper liquid
2 cups water
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Season the chicken pieces with flour, salt, and pepper
Dredge in butter or margarine
Cover the pan and cook slowly for 40 minutes
Add a little hot water if it becomes too dry
Combine the remaining ingredients
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat
Serve in 4 portions.
