1 medium chicken cut into pieces
1/2 cup olive oil
1 small onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic minced
1 green bell pepper diced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 can of crushed tomatoes or 1 cup of tomato puree
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
4 whole cloves
1 tablespoon flour mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Dredge the chicken pieces in 1/2 cup of olive oil
Place in a baking dish greased with some oil
Remove the excess oil from the pan, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and place it back in the pan
Fry the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper
Add all the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat until thickened
Remove the cloves and bay leaf
Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish
Cover and bake at moderate temperature for about 1 hour
Serve with 4 quarters
