Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then set aside
Combine pears, cooking spray, orange juice, parsley, and cloves in a saucepan
Cook over low heat until the pears are tender and easily mashed
If necessary, add hot water to the saucepan in small increments
When almost ready, pan-fry the chicken breasts in an anti-stick skillet coated with cooking spray until golden brown
Serve the chicken hot with the warm pear sauce.
