2 lbs chicken breast, cut into pieces
1 cup yogurt
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, mashed
2 finely chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
2 sprigs of cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl
Mix the yogurt with half of the garlic and pour over the chicken
Let it marinate at room temperature for 2 hours
Melt the butter in a pan
Add the onions, remaining garlic, ginger, cilantro, and salt
Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently
Mix in: 1 tablespoon curry powder and 1 teaspoon ground cumin
Add this mixture to the onions and stir well
Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently
Add the chicken and pomegranate seeds
Cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours or until the chicken is tender, stirring occasionally.
