4 firm oranges

Peel the oranges, remove the white pith and cut into slices
Line a round glass bowl (holding 8 servings) with the slices
Soak with the liqueur or wine and reserve
For the cream: soften the gelatin in orange juice
Heat over low heat, stirring until dissolved
Remove from heat
Beat the eggs with vanilla, sugar, yogurt, and grated peel until well combined
Add the dissolved gelatin along with the orange peel
Place the bowl in an ice bath and whisk occasionally until slightly thickened
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and add to the cream, mixing carefully
Pour over the orange slices
Chill in the refrigerator until firm
Carefully unmold onto a nice plate
Serve chilled.
