2 cups (chopped) of sage leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 pears, peeled and chopped
1 cup (chopped) of sugar
1 tablespoon pepper sauce
1 cup (chopped) of water
2 cups (chopped) of sage leaves

Whisk the olive oil with the pear
If necessary, add one or two tablespoons of water to form a paste
Pour into a pot and combine the sage, sugar, pepper sauce, and cup of water
Cook over low heat for 20 minutes
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking at the bottom
Remove from heat and let cool
Serve with grilled or roasted meats.
