Cut the guavas into chunks without peeling or removing seeds, and place them in a pot with a little water
Allow it to boil and cook until they are tender
Strain through a sieve
Mash the pulp
For each cup of pulp, add 3/4 cup of sugar
For each cup of pulp, add 1 tablespoon of lime juice
Bring to a low heat again and cook for about an hour, stirring occasionally
Place in sterilized jars and seal tightly
Note: When preparing this dessert, use a long-handled wooden spoon or tie a cloth around your arm to avoid splashes on your skin
Reference value: For 1.8 kg of guavas, the yield is 4 cups, or 1 liter
