Remove the orange seeds and reserve
Slice the oranges into very fine pieces, or blend them in a blender
Squeeze the lemon and reserve the juice
Mix the lemon seeds with the orange seeds and tie them up in a gauze bag
In a bowl, combine the sliced or blended oranges, seeds, water, and squeezed lemon rind
Let it sit for one day to another
The next day, throw away the two squeezed lemon halves
Simmer the oranges over low heat for 1.5 hours, until the peels are tender
Remove the bag with the seeds and squeeze well before throwing it away
Add the lemon juice and sugar
Let it boil up and cook rapidly for 8 or 10 minutes until thickened
If necessary, continue cooking for another 10 minutes to reach the jelly point
Remove from heat, mix well, and let it cool
Then, place in glass containers with tightly sealed lids and sterilized
