4 cups of firm strawberries
2 cups of sugar
1 orange juice

Wash the strawberries, remove the stems and pat them dry with paper towels
Mix the sugar and orange juice in a saucepan over low heat
Stir until the sugar dissolves
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a medium syrup consistency
Add the strawberries
Remove from heat and let it rest for 15 minutes
Heat again and cook until the mixture thickens when tested by drizzling some of it onto a plate and allowing it to cool slightly
Pour into sterilized glass jars and stir gently to distribute the fruit evenly
Seal with lids and store in refrigerator.
