2 pounds of green tomatoes
1 pound of sugar
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
10 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup of cherry liqueur (or any other preferred liqueur)

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and blanch them in boiling water to remove the skin
Tear out the seeds as well
Cut the pulp into small pieces
Cook them with sugar, lemon, cloves, and cinnamon
When it reaches a purée-like consistency, carefully remove the cloves and cinnamon
Add the liqueur while the mixture is still warm.
