1 cup of wheat germ
1 cup of shredded coconut
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 1/2 cups of honey
100g of brown sugar
1 1/2 cups of dried fruits (apricots, raisins, figs, and prunes)

Mix together the oats, hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, cashews, wheat germ, and coconut
Bake in a low oven, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted
While the mixture is toasting, prepare the honey-brown sugar-olive oil mixture by combining the ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat
Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat once dissolved
Pour the warm mixture over the oat mixture and stir well to combine
Add the dried fruits and pour into an oiled container
Press down with your hands and let cool to room temperature
Remove from the container and use a rolling pin to break the granola into small pieces
Store in covered containers.
