2 cups of lentils

1 small finely chopped onion
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 soup spoons of butter

Cook the lentils in water for 45 minutes or until they are tender
Drain and add the whole wheat flour and egg
The mixture should be firm (if necessary, add more flour)
In a frying pan, fry the finely chopped onion and garlic in butter until golden brown
Remove from heat and mix with the lentils
Season with salt
Shape into patties using wet hands
Their thickness should be around 1/2 cm and diameter about 7 cm
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) in a well-greased baking dish for about 30 minutes
Yield: 6 burgers.
