1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
4 medium-sized cooked potatoes, peeled and mashed
1 cup (heaping) of codfish or other fish cooked and finely chopped
6 anchovy fillets rinsed and finely chopped
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1/4 cup of cornstarch
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
3 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter
Sauté the onion until it's translucent
Set aside
Place the mashed potatoes still warm in a bowl
Add the anchovies and fish, mixing well
Let it cool slightly
Add the eggs and beat well
Add the onion, parsley, and breadcrumbs
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour
Shape into burgers about 8 cm in diameter
In a large frying pan, heat half of the butter and oil
Fry the burgers quickly on both sides until they're golden brown
Add more butter and oil if necessary
Yield: 10 units
