Peel the sweet potatoes and remove the flesh
Place 1 tablespoon of jam on each one
Arrange the sweet potatoes in a baking dish
Mix the wine and sugar and pour over the sweet potatoes
Cover with small pieces of butter
Bake in a hot oven for 35 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender, basting frequently
Serve hot or cold
Distribute into 6 portions.
