4 to 6 dates
4 to 6 tablespoons of chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
4 to 6 tablespoons of raisins
4 to 6 tablespoons of grated almond
4 to 6 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons of white wine or Porto
juice of 1 lime
juice of 1 orange

Pit the dates
Remove the pits
Mix together the walnuts, almonds, and raisins
Stuff the dates with this mixture
Place on a large sheet of aluminum foil
Raise the edges of the foil
Apply 1 tablespoon of butter to each date
Mix together the orange and lime juices with the wine
Pour over the dates
Seal the foil tightly and bake until the dates are soft but not falling apart
Serve warm, individually wrapped if desired
