Cook the macaroni until it's al dente
Drain and reserve
For the sauce
Brown the onion and garlic in butter
Add seasoned ground beef, letting it release all its juices and start to brown
When it's golden, add the tomato puree blended with thyme and parsley
If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon of heavy cream
Let it simmer until it thickens
Season with salt if needed
Finally place it over the macaroni and serve with grated Parmesan cheese
