1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons tomato extract
1/2 pound diced tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 pound macaroni
250g mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup melted butter

Preheat the oven
Place half of the butter and olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic and onion until they are soft but not golden
Add the tomato extract, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper
Let it simmer slowly for 20 minutes without covering
Strain the sauce through a sieve and add the oregano
Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain
Mix the cooked macaroni with the remaining butter, mozzarella cheese, and place it in an ungreased baking dish
Top with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
Bake for 15-20 minutes
Serve hot in 6 portions.
