1 package of spaghetti (500g)
2 liters of water
2 tablespoons of salt
1 medium onion, chopped
4 tablespoons of olive oil
320g of sausage (linguiça calabresa)
1 tablespoon of fresh or dried oregano
1 cube of beef broth
1 can of tomato puree
3/4 cup of water
1 package of spaghetti (500g)

Heat the water with salt over medium heat
When it's boiling well, add the spaghetti and cook until al dente
Drain
For the sauce, fry the onion in olive oil for a few minutes
Add the sausage slices, cut into rounds
Fry for a few more minutes
Add the tomato puree, water, oregano, and beef broth cube
Stir well
Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes
Serves 4-6 portions
Serve with grated cheese and red wine, if desired.
