Preheat the oven to medium temperature
Grease the madeleine molds with melted butter
Beat the egg whites and yolks with sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy (about 7 minutes)
Add the melted butter with vanilla extract, mixing with a wooden spoon
Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, mixing gently to obtain a uniform batter
Place the batter into the molds and arrange them on a baking sheet
Bake the madeleines for about 20 minutes
Remove from oven and after 10 minutes, demold
Dust with sugar and serve.
