1 green mamão (2 kg) cut in half and seedless
3 spoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1/2 spoon of minced garlic
1/2 pound of ground meat
4 tomato pieces, peeled and seeded
1 spoon of paprika
1 spoon of salt
4 spoons of grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven
Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil until golden brown, without burning
Add the ground meat and fry well, stirring frequently
Add the tomatoes, paprika, and salt
Cook until all liquid is absorbed
Stuff each mamão half with the mixture and place them side by side in a baking dish
Drip water into the baking dish to reach a height of 2 cm
Bake for 1 hour
Dust each mamão half with 1 spoon of grated Parmesan cheese and bake for an additional 30 minutes
Place on a platter and dust with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
