Shuck and clean the shrimp
Cook with salt, pepper, and let it cool
(If the shrimp is large, cut it into pieces.) Beat the cream de leite until it thickens
Add mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and English-style sauce
Taste and adjust seasoning if desired
Cut the shrimp in half lengthwise
Remove seeds and some of the pulp and cut into small pieces
Add to the cream
Add the shrimp, reserving some for garnish
Stuff each shrimp half with this mixture
Serve each shrimp half on lettuce leaves as an appetizer
Serve 8 portions.
