Cook the okra until it's tender
Drain, slice into rounds, and set aside
Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the garlic and fry for 1 minute
Add the tomatoes, oregano, and seasonings, and cook for 15 minutes
In a skillet, heat the butter or margarine and sauté the okra slices on both sides
Combine the tomato mixture and stir gently
Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve warm in a baking dish
