Preheat the oven to 350°F (medium)
Grease a 25 cm diameter cake pan and reserve
Beat the butter and all-purpose flour in a mixer until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time, beating for about 2 minutes or until a light and homogeneous mixture forms
Add the flour mixed with yeast, alternating with milk and vanilla extract, gradually
Remove the mixing bowl from the mixer and fold in the egg whites beaten to a snow-like consistency
Mix delicately and pour into the prepared cake pan
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the batter comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and demold
