Combine vegetable oil, 3/4 cup water, salt, and yeast; stir to combine
Mix slowly, allowing some flour to remain in the depression
Mix until a dough forms

Prepare the savory filling: fry garlic in olive oil until golden brown
Add spinach and cook until wilted
Remove from heat, add nuts and hot pepper sauce; let cool
Cool completely
Divide dough into 2 portions; shape each into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick
Filling with a different filling and roll up tightly, pressing edges to seal
Place in a baking dish and brush with egg
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes or until golden brown
Remove from oven and let cool
Cool completely; cut into 12 portions (6 pieces per mass)
