Place the meat in a deep bowl with plenty of water and let it marinate for at least 6 hours, changing the water several times

Drain the water and mix the meat with vinegar, parsley, red pepper, garlic, onions, bell pepper, and salt
Put it in a large skillet
with oil and cook for 10 minutes or until the meat browns well

Add the water and cover
Simmer for 1 hour or until the meat is tender
Add the okra, check the salt, and simmer for an additional 15 minutes or until it becomes tender, without falling apart.
