4 beef rolls (250g)
1 finely chopped garlic clove
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup hot water
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tomato without seeds, diced
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
Season the beef rolls with garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper
Let it marinate for ten minutes
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat and cook the beef rolls on both sides
Add water if necessary, then simmer for ten minutes at low heat
Remove from heat and reserve the pan juices
Place the beef rolls in a baking dish and pour the reserved pan juices over them
Top each roll with sliced onion, diced tomato, and grated cheese
Bake until the cheese is melted
Serve with the reserved pan juices
