In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding sugar gradually and continuing to beat until firm peaks form
Add the heavy cream and hydrated gelatin (dissolved according to package instructions)
Mix delicately
Combine the chopped strawberries and place in a 20cm diameter mold with a removable bottom
Chill in the freezer until set
Topping
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and mix with heavy cream
Remove the meringue from its mold and cover with the chocolate
Decorate with strawberries and serve immediately.
