Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat
Add the onion and garlic and fry until the onion is translucent, for about 8 minutes
Add the curry powder and mix well
Add the water and wine and let it simmer
Add the shrimp, cover the pan, and cook for 3 to 6 minutes or until they open, stirring occasionally
Do not use any shrimp that do not open
Sprinkle with cilantro and salt
Serve in soup bowls with bread, garnished with 4 slices.
