1/2 kg of fresh peas
1 cup of salt cut into small cubes
2 carrots, peeled and cut into small pieces
1 large onion, peeled and cut into small pieces
1/2 kg of cooked tomatoes without skins
1/2 cup of olive oil
375g of angel hair macaroni
3 liters of water
1/2 cup of grated Minas cheese
3 potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash all the legumes thoroughly
Cook the onion and potatoes in olive oil for about 10 minutes or until they are lightly browned
Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper; cover and simmer slowly for about 15 minutes
In a separate pot, bring 3 liters of water to a boil
Add salt, peas, carrots; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the legumes are tender
Add potato and onion along with tomatoes, and broken macaroni
Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes
Serve hot with grated Minas cheese
