2 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced
80g of anchovies, rinsed and chopped
1/4 cup of dry white wine
1/3 cup of chopped fresh parsley

Heat the olive oil with the butter or margarine over low heat
Add the garlic and anchovies
Stir constantly until the anchovies dissolve
Finally, add the white wine and parsley
Serve
This sauce makes about 3/4 cup, perfect for a package of macaroni.
