Melt the butter, add the chopped onion and let it caramelize slowly
Add the flour and tomato paste
Stir well
Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer
Season to taste and let it cook slowly for 5 minutes
To freeze, let the sauce cool down
Place it in an airtight container and put it in the freezer
To thaw, place the frozen block of sauce in a pan with a little water, heat it over low heat, stirring occasionally.
