1 cup of sugar
1 cup of boiling water
1 tablespoon of vanilla

Cover the sugar evenly to form a thin layer on a frying pan
Place over low heat and let it be without stirring until the sugar melts and turns into a golden syrup (not too dark)
Lenta and carefully (it might splatter), add boiling water, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the sugar dissolves
Continue stirring to achieve a transparent and thick syrup
This takes about 5-7 minutes
Remove from heat and add vanilla
Serve warm or cold
Serve with 1 cup of any flavor ice cream and it will be delicious.
