Melt the butter, mix in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly
Gradually add the milk, stirring without pause
Add salt, pepper, and curry powder
Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens
This can be prepared ahead of time, storing it in a well-sealed container in the refrigerator
NOTES: - Without curry, you have white sauce

It has a strong and pungent flavor
