In a medium saucepan, over moderate heat, warm the milk and 1 cup of water until it reaches a boil point
Beat the eggs lightly
Add to the saucepan gradually
Add the sugar
Warming over low heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens slightly
Flavor with rum
Serve warm over fruits
