Blend together the red pepper flakes, onion, tomato paste, and garlic
Add in vinegar, oil, bay leaves, black pepper, parsley, and nutmeg
Pour into a jar and let it sit for 48 hours
Strain afterwards
Add lemon juice as needed to prevent bitterness
Store in the refrigerator.
