1 cup of dry red wine
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
to taste, black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup softened butter or margarine
1 cup of dry red wine

In a small saucepan, cook the wine slowly with the onion for 20 minutes or until reduced to 1/4 cup
Add the black pepper and parsley
Stir well
Let it cool and mix well with the softened butter or margarine
Use on top of grilled steaks as they come out of the fire
Yield: 1 cup.
