2 tablespoons of olive oil

4 anchovy fillets, dried with paper towels
5 diced tomatoes or 1 can of crushed tomatoes with liquid
1 package of spaghetti, 500g

Heat the olive oil over low heat
Add the garlic and anchovies, cook stirring until the anchovies break down, about 3 minutes
Add the diced tomatoes with liquid (if using canned)
Simmer over medium heat, breaking up the tomatoes with a spoon until the sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti until al dente
Drain
Combine with the sauce and sprinkle with green onion and black pepper
Serve four portions.
