2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion not too fine
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
juice from 1 large lime
salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups of red wine plus
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion not too fine

1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
Sauté the onion in 1/4 cup of butter or margarine until it becomes transparent
Add the garlic, oregano, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to taste
Simmer over low heat for 4 minutes
Add the red wine
Raise the heat and let it come to a boil
Reduce the heat again and let it simmer for 5 minutes
When serving, combine with 1/2 cup of butter or margarine and chopped fresh parsley
Serves 6.
