In a medium saucepan, slowly heat the olive oil
Add the onion and cook, stirring constantly, for 4 minutes (do not let it brown)
Add the garlic and cook for another minute
Cut the tomatoes into pieces and add them to the saucepan with the remaining ingredients
Let it simmer slowly, stirring occasionally, for about 40 minutes or until it thickens well
Remove from heat and let it cool down
Use for two pizzas.
