8 slices of smoked bacon
3 tablespoons of bacon fat, melted
3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of vinegar
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
3 tablespoons of cold water
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup of green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup of salted peanuts, finely chopped
1/4 cup of canned red pepper, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of mustard (optional)
3 cooked and chopped eggs
8 slices of smoked bacon

2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup of green bell pepper, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon of mustard (optional)
3 cooked and chopped eggs
Fry the smoked bacon in a pan and reserve
Mix 3 tablespoons of bacon fat with sugar, vinegar, and black pepper
Heat this mixture slowly until the sugar is dissolved
Separately, mix cold water with flour to obtain a smooth paste
Add this paste slowly to the pan ingredients and cook over low heat until thickened
Remove from heat and add all other ingredients except eggs, stirring well
Fry bacon, add it to eggs, and stir carefully into the sauce
Keep the sauce warm and serve with finely chopped cabbage or sweet potato slices
Serve 2-3/4 cups.
