Heat two tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat
When hot, cook the beef strips on both sides
Reserve warm
On another side, melt the remaining butter and sprinkle with flour
Let it brown
Add the hot beef broth gradually, stirring well after each addition
Combine the tomato sauce and wine
Stir and let it simmer
Place the beef in the resulting sauce, cover the skillet, and let it simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
Serve immediately.
