Mix the yolks and sugar
Beat until pale yellow
Place over simmering water
Cook, stirring constantly until thickened
Remove from heat and add liqueur
Stir and let cool
Beat egg whites until snowy and fold into yolk mixture
Fold in whipped cream, pour into a serving dish and refrigerate for 1 day
Remove from refrigerator, unmold, and chill for 30 minutes before serving
If desired, serve with chocolate sauce.
