Beat 2 eggs with the sugar and salt until a creamy and foamy mixture is obtained
Add the heavy cream and rum
Finally add the panned all-purpose flour
The amount of flour may vary slightly depending on the size of the eggs
Mix well
It's important that the dough has a good consistency to be handled
Roll out the dough on a smooth surface, dusted with all-purpose flour, to a thickness of 1/2 cm
Cut into strips 10 cm long and 2 cm wide
With each strip make a knot
Heat the frying oil and fry the knots in small batches until they are well golden brown
Remove from the oil and let it drain on absorbent paper
