Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the pulp
In the cavity of each tomato, place a little chive
Arrange the tomatoes on a baking sheet greased with olive oil and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes
Remove them and break an egg into each one
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and return to moderate heat (burners below and above), cooking the eggs for about 5 minutes or until they are cooked through
If the top burner is too hot, the yolk will become overcooked.
