    Melt a little butter in a non-stick skillet: approximately 1 tablespoon per 2 eggs. Crack the egg into a bowl or a small, shallow dish. Let it flow carefully onto the skillet. Fry the egg over medium heat until the white is no longer translucent and the yolk is slightly firm. Sprinkle the egg with salt and pepper. If desired, you can also fry some slices of ham lightly in the skillet and then add the eggs.
