6 tablespoons of butter or margarine
6 tablespoons of wheat flour
1 3/4 cups of milk
1 cup of chicken broth
3/4 cup of grated cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper to taste
12 hard-boiled eggs
fried breadcrumbs
chopped parsley

Melt the butter, add the flour and mix well
Add the milk and chicken broth gradually, stirring constantly
Cook over low heat, stirring always until a smooth thick sauce is obtained
Add the cheeses, wine, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until the cheese melts
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Peel the eggs still warm and arrange them in a greased baking dish
Pour the sauce over the eggs and sprinkle with fried breadcrumbs
Bake in a low oven (150°F) until warmed through
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve, 6 servings.
