4 hard-boiled eggs, cut lengthwise in half
1 can of sardines in oil
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1/4 cup of heavy cream or plain yogurt
2 to 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
4 drops of hot sauce
4 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper

Separate the whites from the yolks
Pass them through a sieve and mix with the sardines
Combine the remaining ingredients, stir well
and stuff the whites
Garnish with thin slices of hot pepper or salsa
Serve on lettuce leaves
Cut into 4 portions
